As a breast cancer survivor, a mother, and a dreamer who believes in legacy over limitation, Missouri knew this experience had to exist. The GLI Experience is for those who have weathered storms, the visionaries building something bigger than themselves, and the leaders ready to rise.

Missouri's Great-Great-Grandmother
A Story of Agape Love
The Beautiful Lady in White
Grandma Jane was a beautiful, fair-skinned woman with long, silky white hair. She stood about 5 feet 4 inches and was one of the kindest ladies Missouri had ever known. She never wore any color other than white—her skin was glowy and flawless, her eyes big and beautiful.
She lived in the Lincoln Street projects in Newark. Every Friday, the children were sent to the corner, two blocks away, to meet Grandma Jane and escort her to their apartment at 280 Prince Street. There, they would share dinner, laughter, prayers, and table talk. Missouri's mother would care for her as if she were God.
Grandma Jane was a strong believer. She prayed for everything and taught Missouri how to pray. The bond between Grandma Jane and Missouri's mother was something to behold—a love so deep it would later inspire Mother Watson to seek God and choose a different path for her entire family.
"I love you, Grandma Jane, I really do, and I am thankful that I have an opportunity to share your story here and to remember all the good that you were. From my spirit to yours, thank you for your Agape Love and such fond memories of such a beautiful soul… until we meet again."
One Saturday, Grandma Jane passed peacefully in her sleep—just as she had foretold, in her house, in her bed. She left behind a legacy of faith, unconditional love, and the simple, sacred ritual of Friday walks, dinner table prayers, and a mother brushing her grandmother's long white hair. Her spirit lives on in everything the GLI Experience stands for.
